Common questions

Do I need an account to buy?+

Yes. An account keeps your orders, tracking, messages, and saved products in one place, and lets shops reach you about your order.

Why are items from one order shipped separately?+

Each product is made and shipped by an independent shop. A cart with items from three shops creates three shipments, each with its own tracking number and carrier rate.

Is my payment information secure?+

Card payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe’s secure checkout and are never stored by Keepstall.

How are sellers vetted?+

Every shop applies and is reviewed before listing. Sellers must also complete identity verification with Stripe before receiving payouts.

Can I cancel my order?+

Before it ships, open the order and choose Request cancellation. The shop has 48 hours to accept. If the order is past its ship-by date, you can cancel it right away for a full refund.

My order has not arrived. What do I do?+

Check the tracking link on your order page first. If it still has not arrived, choose Get help, then Report a problem, then Item has not arrived. The shop must reply within 48 hours.

My item arrived damaged or not as described.+

Open the order, choose Report a problem, and add photos. The shop can offer a replacement, a return, or a refund. If you cannot agree, ask Keepstall to step in and we decide within 3 business days.

How do returns work?+

Every shop accepts returns of unused items within 30 days of delivery, unless the item is custom-made, personalized, or perishable and the listing says so. Start a return from your order page so the shop can send instructions.

When will I get my refund?+

Refunds go back to the card you paid with. Most banks show them within 5 to 10 business days. We email you as soon as a refund is issued.

How is my purchase protected?+

Shops are not paid until your order is delivered, or 7 days after it ships. If something goes wrong and the shop does not fix it, Keepstall can refund you.

Will I have to pay anything when my order arrives?+

Not on orders to the United States. When a shop ships from another country, such as Ghana, the US import duties are added at checkout and prepaid, so the total you see is the total you pay. If a carrier ever asks you for a fee, do not pay it. Open the order, choose Get help, then Asked to pay a fee on delivery, and the shop or Keepstall will fix it.

Do you ship outside the United States?+

Many shops do. In the market, choose your country under Delivers to and you only see shops that can reach you. Buyers in Ghana, Canada, the UK and Europe also see prices in their own currency. Checkout shows the live shipping price. Your card is always charged in US dollars. Import duties or taxes may be charged by your country when the parcel arrives.

I live in Canada, the UK or Europe. What will I pay?+

You pay the item price and shipping at checkout in US dollars, and Keepstall shows the amount in your currency too. In Canada and the EU, your country charges import tax, and sometimes duty, when the parcel arrives, and checkout shows an estimate before you pay. Canada: nothing extra on orders from US shops up to C$40, then GST or HST. EU: VAT at your country's rate, plus the EU's €3 duty per item on parcels up to €150. UK: on parcels of £135 or less, 20% UK VAT is added at checkout, so there is nothing to pay on delivery. Over £135, duty and VAT are paid on delivery.

I live in Ghana. What will I pay?+

You pay the item price and shipping at checkout, in US dollars, and Keepstall shows the amount in cedis too. Parcels from shops outside Ghana are charged Ghana import duty, levies and VAT when they arrive, and you pay these to the carrier. Before you pay, checkout shows an estimate of these charges and asks you to confirm. Customs sets the final amount from each item, so it can be a little different. Shops based in Ghana ship to you with no import charges. Add your GhanaPost GPS digital address at checkout so the courier can find you.

What does the Top Rated badge mean?+

The shop shipped at least 95% of orders on time, replied to 95% of messages within 24 hours, and kept a 4.8 star average over the last 90 days.

How do I contact a shop?+

Use Message the shop on any product or shop page, or Contact shop on your order. You will get an email when they reply.

What does Keepstall charge sellers?+

A flat 5% of the item subtotal. No listing fees, no monthly fee during launch, and no commission on shipping or tax. Card processing and payout fees are passed on at the real cost, with no markup, and are shown on every order.

When do sellers get paid?+

On Keepstall payday, shown with its next date on the seller dashboard. An order counts toward payday once tracking shows it was delivered, or 7 days after it ships, whichever comes first, and each shop gets one payment for all its finished orders. Orders with an open buyer case wait until the case closes. There are no surprise reserves.

Can I sell from outside the United States?+

Yes. Shops in 44 countries, including Ghana, can apply. You set your own shipping price and ship with a local carrier, and you are paid by Stripe or by bank transfer depending on your country.

How do I delete my account?+

Contact the Keepstall team using the details on this page. We delete your account after any open orders and cases are finished, and keep only the records the law requires.

Can I sell here if I am a sole proprietor?+

Yes. Sole proprietors, family workshops, and small brands are welcome. There is no application fee and no minimum catalog size.
